North Norfolk presents some of the earliest evidence of human civilization in Britain. The world’s biggest mammoth skeleton is just one example.

Norfolk Day 2019 was an opportunity to construct drop-in activities to explore this history with local people and visitors. Mammoths and sabre tooth cats emerged from A4 paper. Templates to draw around, cut and colour were all available for this all-age activity to reconstruct something of north Norfolk’s past.
